German student in serious condition after attack in Canterbury, Seventh arrest.

Police have made a seventh arrest following an attack on an exchange student in Canterbury.

Officers arrested a 17-year-old boy from Canterbury yesterday evening and he remains in custody.

He remains in a serious condition.

A 16-year-old boy, a 16-year-old girl and two 15-year-old boys, all from Canterbury, and a 17-year-old boy from Margate were arrested earlier this week as part of the investigation.

They have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
